Obituary of Rosemary Mazzitelli

Rosemary Mazzitelli, 87 peacefully passed away on May 11, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margret (Mullin) Getter. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Vincent Mazzitelli; as well as her siblings Charles Getter, Margaret (Getter) Mazzafro, Dolores (Getter) Cheney, and Joseph Getter. Rose is survived by her sons, Matthew Mazzitelli and his wife Susan, and Mark Mazzitelli and his wife Kristy; her six grandchildren Emalee, Allison, Aidan, Vincent, Evan and Anna; and 16 nieces and nephews, including a devoted and loving niece Christina Isenhart. Rose attended Assumption BVM and Little Flower High School in Philadelphia. She then moved to Coopersburg, PA to raise her family. Later moving to Allentown, PA, and finally settling in Cape May, NJ. She was a devout Catholic. Rose was both devoted to her family and her husband. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity. Her greatest joy was being with her children and grandchildren, and spending time in Cape May. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday May 17, 2023 from 10 AM until the mass of Christian burial at 11 AM at St. Isidore's Catholic Church 2545 W Pumping Station Rd, Quakertown, PA 18951. Burial will private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rose's name to Breast Cancer Research Foundation and St. Isidore's Parish.
