Raymond P. Hocker, Sr., 76, Erma (Lower Township) entered into eternal rest Friday afternoon at his residence. Born January 25, 1947 in Wildwood, he was the son of the late Raymond Pearl and Mary (Lawton) Hocker. He was a 1965 graduate of Middle Township High School. After graduation he served as an Airman Third Class in the United States Airforce. He was employed as a carpenter. He was a member of Cape May County WASP model airplane club. He was an avid fisherman and was also a skilled musician. A tinkerer of sorts, he was known by his family and friends to be a collector of everything. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Raymond P. Hocker, Jr. (2018), granddaughter Riley Myers (2001) and a sister Elizabeth Stewart. Ray is survived by his children Catherine Myers (Will) and Joseph Hocker; daughter-in-law JaneHocker; grandchildren Ava Myers, Jake Hocker and Lily Hocker; siblings Sandy McPherson (Micky), Annis Kouril (Robert) and Pamela Felder; ex-wife Donna Hocker; and several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 15th from 5 to 8PM at the Marquis de Lafayette 501 Beach Ave. Cape May NJ 08204. Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road has been entrusted with arrangements.
