Janet McMahon, 73, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Janet was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, sister-in-law, grandmother, aunt and friend. Janet was born on June 20, 1949, in Phila., PA; to Elmer and Rosemarie Bingham. Janet attended grade school, high school, and college in Phila. PA. She graduated with a degree in nursing, for which she had an incredible passion. Janet had a successful 35-year career as an RN. She loved to share her medical insight with her family. Janet over the years enjoyed music, swimming, flowers, travel, coin collecting, jewelry, wearing bling, crafting, going out on the town, spoiling her pet dogs for many years, sitting and watching the sunsets with her husband with a glass of wine, and especially above all things watching movies. At the young age of 19, Janet met and married her very first love and the love of her life for over 53 years, John (aka Jack). They were blessed with one son John and four wonderful grandchildren. Janet loved following the school experiences, careers, and life adventures of her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. All brought her great joy. She always said how happy it made her to see them following their dreams. Janet had a strong devotion to Jesus and converted to the Catholic religion in her 30’s. She volunteered at her church in Pottstown, PA for many years, she also through her strong faith supported my charities. Janet is preceded by her mother and father, Rosemarie (Neddiles) and Elmer Bingham. She is survived by her husband John McMahon, son, John and wife Tara McMahon, sister Marian, brother Alan and wife Deb Bingham. Grandchildren: Raisa Colon, Jake, Michael, and Morgan McMahon. Sister-in-laws, relatives, and many friends. Janet left us with many wonderful memories; so she will always be in our hearts forever.
