Obituary of Jane M Burns

Jane M. Burns departed this earth on January 26, 2023, at the age of 92. She was a resident of Ashland, NJ for over forty years before relocating to Villas, NJ where she resided for over thirty-years. She leaves behind her daughter, Lori McEwing (Brian), grandsons, Brian McEwing (Jodie), Ian McEwing (Kate), Shawn Burns (Laura), granddaughter Morgan Eveland (Bryan), and many great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her Husband, George L. Burns, Sr., and son George L. Burns, Jr. She loved dancing with her brothers and family and friends, which she did until Parkinson's Disease robbed her of the ability. She was a seamstress for many years with Eisenberg and O'Hara and later Bendinger, making uniforms for schoolgirls until her retirement. A Memorial Service will be held on February 2, 2023 at St Barnabas Church, 13 W. Bates Ave, Villas, NJ at 10am. Family and friends may call for visitiation at the church from 9:30-10am prior to the service. Burial will follow at Cape May County Veterans Cemetery.
