George "Keith" Givens, devoted husband of Jeanette Eckert-Givens, passed on 1/!3/2023 at the age of 69. Born in Philadelphia PA, he worked many years as a brick pointer and was a member of Brick Layers and Allied Craftworkers Local 1. Keith and Jeanette were together 26 years and married 5 years. They moved to the shore in 2001 because they loved it so much. He was predeceased by his brother William Givens and sister Donna Cain. He is survived by sisters Margaret Wilkinson, Patricia McDonough, Jaqueline Monte and Cheryl Krupa, his children Keith Givens, Amanda Hackett and William Hackett. He resided with his grandsons Anthony Cardaci and Carson Hackett and had 7 other grandchildren; also loved by many nieces and nephews, He loved fishing and crabbing and taking the kids to the boardwalk. He was a loyal friend to Bill W. and was constantly helping others and helping to raise his 2 grandsons. He will be missed and loved by many. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., North Cape May, NJ at 3pm. Family and friends may call from 2-3pm prior to the service.
