Edith H. Hanson, 69, Fishing Creek, entered into eternal rest Monday evening December 26 at her residence with her children at her side.
Born May 27, 1953 in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Anthony Michael Sacco, Sr. and the late Mildred Kathryn Worthington Sacco.
She worked as a waitress most recently having worked at Aleathea's Restaurant in Cape May. Edith loved to sit and watch the birds and hummingbirds visit her many feeders in her yard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert who died in 2012.
Edith will be forever missed by her children Steven C. Hanson, Villas and Cassandra Hanson, Fishing Creek; grandchildren Alex and Steven and 3 great grandchildren; siblings Barbara, RuthAnn, Suzanne, and Michael Jr; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road Cape May New Jersey has been entrusted with arrangements.
