Obituary of Virginia Alice Beck

Virginia Alice Beck, age 65, of North Cape May died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Victoria Manor of N. Cape May, NJ. She was born in Wilmington, DE. to Sigmund and Virginia (nee Cooling) Bazela. Virginia was formerly of Elkton, MD and Claymont DE. She summered in the Cape May area since 2004 and moved there permanently in 2009. Virginia had worked in several Garden Centers and Nurseries. She enjoyed gardening, fitness training(at Kirkwood Fitness Club), tennis and running. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years,: George R Beck, Sr;. three sons: George (Laura) R Beck, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Tobin (Christie) Beck of Wynnewood, PA, Ner (Beth) T Beck of Wilmington, DE; four sisters: Carol Mongillo, Barbara Bateman, Frances Katsuura, Susan Bazela and two brothers: Sigmund Bazela, William Bazela; She also leaves five grandchildren A catholic prayer service will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 28 , 2014 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N Cape May, NJ where friends may call from 10 to 11 am. Inurnment will be private at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cold Spring.
