Obituary of Constance Smith

Constance Ann Smith, 57, Bradley Beach, NJ, entered into eternal rest December 3rd at her residence. Born May 3, 1965 in Cape May Court House, she was the daughter of Nancy Conroy Kuswendra (Kus) and the late Frederick D. Smith, Sr (1987). As a child, Conni attended the former St. Raymond's Elementary School, Wildwood Catholic, and Middle Twp High School. Early on, Conni worked as a licensed real estate agent for Kona Real Estate in Lower Township, NJ. Conni will forever be remembered for her sense of humor, her loyalty and her quick wit. She had a love of animals including her and Cameron's beloved German Shepherd, Spike but she also had a soft spot for turtles. Conni was genuine, had a heart of gold and adored her family. Especially her grandchildren. She was proud to say that her three children were her greatest accomplishments. Spending time with family at the Jersey Shore was the highlight of summer. Conni enjoyed all types of seafood, but her favorite was a nice big, steamed lobster, preferably with an espresso martini. Our family has no doubt that Conni will give the angels in heaven a run for their money and will ultimately earn her own wings. We are at peace knowing she will continue to watch over all of us forever. She will forever be missed by her children Chelsea Futrell, Mackenzee Wareham, and Cameron Smith; grandsons Peyton, Gabe & Corbin; brothers Frederick D. Smith, Jr. (Ginny); Andri C. Kuswendra (Lynda); sister Deborah Smith Purcell (Vincent); godparents Robert Conroy and Noel Reim; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects Friday, December 9th from 10 AM until the time of service at Noon at Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May NJ. Rev, Jamie King, Off.
