Aunt Debbie has been part of My Life for as long as I been on this Earth, My Mom's youngest Sister and only 3 short years older than me, she could have been My Sister and at times it sort of felt that way. She called me Will short for Willie, she was the only one who called Me this name, Named after My Grand Father "William B DeCicco" His nic name was "Willie"
Aunt Debbie was one of the best story teller's of all times, boy she sure knew how to make it dramitic and interesting and could go on for hours lol. The one thing that pop's into my head as I look back on her life is that she never missed any of My Birthday's,I always looked forward to that Birthday Card in the mail Box with The Nj state Lottery ticket's Pick 3 and 4 straight and Box and as a Bonus she sent me a scratch off, I never won but I've never won anything in my life anyway.
We were close, as close to a Aunt you can get I suppose, We didn't see each other all that much but we did manage to call each other and spend hours telling us stories of things going on in Life. One thing I regret is we lost contact in the past few years, I tried contacting her and even left messages on her answering machine but never got a call back, plus I was so wrapped up in my own life after the loss of my wife and getting married again that I may have dropped the ball so to speak but I wish I could tell her how I really felt and that I loved her very much. She was a great Aunt and she will alays be in my heart for ever and ever. I love you Aunt Deb.
