Obituary of Dolores M. Reuter

Dolores Mae Reuter, age 85 of North Cape May passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday November 25, 2022 at her home. Dolores was born on May 12, 1937 in Abington, PA to William and Dora Mae (nee Dunlap) Litton. She had previously resided in Pennsylvania and Connecticut before coming to Cape May 30 years ago. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dolores enjoyed the beach and going out to the bay to watch the sunsets She enjoyed cooking for the family especially breakfast. She loved the Christmas season and decorating for it. Dolores was a member at the Church of the Advent in Cape May. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Joseph P. Reuter Jr (2015); her brother William Litton Jr. and grandson Ryan Reuter. Dolores is survived by her three children; Michael Reuter and his wife Grace; Pamela Simone and her husband Donald and Cindy Nave and her husband Tony; a sister Geraldine Street; six grandchildren, Anthony Nave, Stephanie Trafka, Kristina Martorana, Steven Reuter, Michael Simone and Sydney Simone; and 10 great-grandchildren. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Dolores will be held at 10 AM on Friday December 2, 2022 at the Church of the Advent, 686 Washington Street, Cape May. Burial of her cremains will follow services at the St. Mary's Cemetery in Cold Spring. In lieu of flowers contributions in Dolores's memory to the Church of the Advent would be greatly appreciated.
