Joan K. Burns, 89, passed away on September 28, 2022. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on Valentines Day in 1933. Joan lived in the Olney section of Philadelphia and moved to North Cape May in 1981. She worked at the Boro of Stone Harbor for 14 years and was a volunteer at Cape Regional for 19 years. She also worked the polls for many years. Joan is survived by her 2 sons Charles and Michael, 2 grandchildren, Kelley (Robert) and Christopher (Tara) and 5 great-grandchildren Katherine, Caden, Daniel, Amelia and Ryan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on October 21, 2022 at St. John of God, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ at 11am. Family and friends may call from 10-11am at the church. Interment will be held at Cape May County Veterans Cemetery following the service. Condolences may be shared at www.evoyfuneralhome.com.
