Frank Jay Obermeyer, Jr., 53, of Villas, NJ, passed away suddenly September 24th, 2022. Jay was the former owner and Captain of Jessie-O Fishing Fleet, Somers Point, NJ. He is survived by his mother, Roberta "Robin" Taylor; father, Frank Jay Obermeyer, Sr. (Laura); sister, Kerry Foose (John); and daughters Colbee, Denver, and Parker. Jay was an avid fisherman who mastered the art of fish fileting and took pride in his skill with the guarantee of no bones. He enjoyed the open road while on his Harley. Jay loved all things 80's, especially 80's music and never missed a beat on the dance floor. He was a devoted Christian who always felt at home at his lifelong church, Cape Island Baptist. Jay loved this Denver Broncos team and always enjoyed gametime with a case of Coca-Cola, a big red bags of Herrs potato chips and his favorite Sicilian pizza with extra cheese half pepperoni. Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, October 5th at 11AM at Cape Island Baptist Church 115 Gurney Street Cape May NJ. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10:30 AM until the time of service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May has been entrusted with arrangements.
