They moved to South Jersey and had 2 children Christina Marie Stephens (1966) and John F Stephens (1968). They divorced in 1973 and Patricia married Gary A Chaney 12/8/1979 and were together almost 40 years until his death from lung cancer on 9/12/2019. She moved to Palm Springs to be with her son, John, who cared for her until she passed from Alzheimer's on 9/02/2022. She worked at the Deptford Township MUA from 1974-1996 starting as a secretary and attending night school to get a college education. She became office manager and eventually became the Executive Director when she retired. Mom overcame a lot of challenges and worked hard and made many sacrifices to make sure her children got college educations so they could have a better life. She liked country dancing, vacations at the shore, baking in her own kitchen and Christmas. Gary and Mom would go to the VFW on Sundays to listen to music and spend time with their friends.
