Josephine DiFilippo Obituary

Josephine (Pallini) DiFilippo, 87, of Wildwood, NJ, formerly of South Philadelphia, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at her home. Born on December 6, 1934 in South Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Constantino and Maria (Papagno) Pallini. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years the late Romeo J. DiFilippo who passed on March 7, 2014. Also preceded by Philomena (Minnie)(Joe), Eva (Pete) and Frank (Rita) and nieces and nephews.



Josephine enjoyed spending time with her children, Mary Angela Liberto (Denis), Michael DiFilippo (Kim), Teresa Santangelo (Joe), Donna DiFilippo-Sepulveda (Angelo). She was a loving grandmother to Liz O'Hare (Dan) and Dominic Liberto (Jen). Also surviving her great grandchildren, Isabella, Anthony, Daniella, Amber, Lyanna and Ellianna.



And loving companion to John Seiner (Sinetti).



Her porch was her favorite room in the house. It was the social center of the neighborhood. Everyone enjoyed her hospitality highlighted by her biscottis, wine and occasionally her waffles and ice cream. Mom and Dad loved to travel, one of the highlights of their lives, especially the trips to Italy and Bermuda with their children.



Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday September 29, 2022 from 12:30-1:30 for viewing, mass at 1:30 at Our Lady Star of the Sea, 525 Washington Street, Cape May, NJ. Interment will follow at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery
