Obituary of Juanita Oreo

Please share a memory of Juanita to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Juanita M. Oreo, 80, Villas entered into eternal rest Wednesday evening, August 31 at her residence with her loving family by her side. Born July 1, 1942 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Guillermo and Leila (LeBoon) Arbiz. She is survived by her husband of 38 years Anthony Oreo to whom she wed November 4, 1992 in a little chapel in Las Vegas. Juanita was a member of St. Raymond RC Church, Villas. She was retired as an Abled Body Seaman at the Cape May Lewes Ferry where she was very proud of not only her career but also the Ferry. She developed many friendships while being employed there and also earned the nickname "Humming bird". The greatest joys in her life were her family. She particularly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Whether it be playing Bingo, shopping, fishing or venturing to the Boardwalks, trips to Disney, and riding all the rides. She always made time for them and she even managed to pick up additional grandchildren along the way because she was the "cool" grandma. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-children Anthony and Lauren; bothers Ali, Gil, and Ray; and sister Candy. Nita is survived by her husband Anthony; children Skip (Roxann), Debbie (Vincent), Rich, Bruce (Beth), and Craig (Beth); grandchildren Nina, Brennan, Nicholas, Macie, Nicole, Kerry, Shannon, Graham, Anthony, Madisonlee, and Miralee; brother Rod Arbiz (Sharon); sisters-in-law Barbara and Bonnie; and several nieces and nephews who she adored. A special thank you to the "Sisters" for the love and support they have shown to Nita over the years. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11AM Wednesday, September 7 at St. John of God RC Church North Cape May. Rev. Jamie King, Officiant. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10AM until 10:45 at the church. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May has been entrusted with arrangements. Donations may be made to St. Jude's in memory of Juanita.
