Kathy, or “Mom-Mom Kathy” as my girls called her, was part of my life for 10+ years and I am a better person for knowing her. She stepped in when my own mother died unexpectedly and was readily available to fill the shoes of a surrogate mom for me. We loved Kathy and her loss will always be with us, but so is the hope that she is in paradise without pain and looking over us all.
