Lisa Rose Saggese
Lisa Rose Bromall was born in Chester, PA in 1961 to Lily and Paul Bromall. The family moved to Cape May County, NJ when she was 13 years old. After marrying James Saggese in 1981, she moved to Newcastle, DE. A few years after they returned to Cape May to raise their children near family. One thing is for sure wherever Lisa went she made friends.
Lisa enjoyed going to the beach, hosting Sangria Sundays, cooking for her family, Disney World, and of course Bob Dylan. Always ready with a quick remark, her sense of humor was one of her very best traits. She thought she was hilarious even if no one else did.
Lisa was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in her teens and spent most of her life as a member of the Cape May congregation. There she made many life long friends, was loved, and will be remembered. She enjoyed sharing Bible truths in the door-to-door ministry, which Jehovah's Witnesses are known for. She even fulfilled a long time goal to become a regular pioneer or full time minister and enjoyed that volunteer service during the last two years of her life.
Lisa was certified in alcohol and drug counseling and spent much of her life helping those battling alcohol and drug addiction, a cause that was personally important to her.
Lisa died peacefully at home on August 4th surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her mother Lily, husband James Saggese, children Andi Saggese with her husband Rob, and Dillon Saggese with his wife Amanda, brother Gary Bromall, and sister Dana Miller with her husband David, her grandchildren Quinn, Willow and Teagan, and a collection of cousins and extended family. She will be missed but surely never forgotten.
