Kittel, Joseph Christian, age 94, of West Cape May, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at his home. Joseph was born in Philadelphia, PA and joined the US Navy; serving in WWII. He was employed by Princeton University, for 30 years, as a nuclear power researcher. He was an outdoor enthusiast; hunting, fishing and gardening and was actively involved with the VFW and the Shade Tree Committee.
Joseph is predeceased by his daughter Margaret "Peggy" and his son Daniel Kittel and also his brothers Walter and William. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, of 69 years, Gloria Lee (nee Long) Kittel, his two sons, Joseph Christian Kittel and Mark David Kittel, his seven Grandchildren and six Great-Grandchildren, his brother Christian (Rose Mary) Kittel and Richard (Touey) Kittel, his sister-in-law Marilyn Kearns and 18 nieces and nephews.
