Richard "Shorty" Geere, 59, passed away suddenly due to motor vehicle accident on June 20, 2022. He was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1963 and was raised in the Cape May County area. Shorty lived in Burleigh and worked as a self-employed handyman. Shortly also worked at Hunt's Pier for many years in the 1980s. He enjoyed fishing and crabbing. He is survived by his brother John, his cousin Nancy Stone, his life-long best friends Charles "Chuck" Frederick, Karen Knights, Mike Hatcher, and Carrie along with many friends and his dog, Diamond, who he loved so much. May you rest in peace and fly high, you will be missed but never forgotten. A memorial service will be held and announced at a later date. Condolences may be shared at www.evoyfuneralhome.com.
