Sloan was a friend for many years, an excellent artist, and a well-liked member of the Boardwalk community in Wildwood. Over the 20 or so years since I've known him, he has always been one of the more interesting characters I have known. From when I met him in the mid 90's playing Virtua-fighter II in the boardwalk mall, to the times he helped up with our stores, to the many late-night philosophical debates we had, he will be missed. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family, and to the many people whose lives have been touched by him over the years.
