Obituary of Joanne Cox

Joanne Katherine Cox (nee Friedrich), 61, of North Cape May, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2022. She was born to the late Jack and Florence Friedrich. She graduated from Lower Cape May Regional High School in 1978, after, she worked at the Mount Vernon Hotel in Cape May and also as a Caretaker at the Arc for many years. Joanne enjoyed gardening, cooking, also spending time with her grandchildren and animals. She is survived by her brother John Friedrich (Una Molnar), Sons: Christopher Bailey (Crystal Hutter), Ryan Bailey (Nikki Hober) and Ronald Cox III (Alicia Magnavita). Grandchildren: Jaiden, Ryan, Cullen, Quinn, Paisley, Kaydence and Saydee. Nieces and nephews: Zach (Mary), Billy, Brandi and Nikki Friedrich also her partner Ray Hewitt. Joanne is predeceased by her husband Ronald E. Cox Jr. and her brother Billy (Bull-Bull) Friedrich. A Memorial Service, where friends and family can pay their respects, will be held at 1pm Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Evoy's Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd. N. Cape May.
