Gerald "Jerry" E. Davis, 84, passed away on May 16, 2022 at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center. Jerry was formerly from Woodbury Heights, NJ and a Cape May County resident for the past 15 years. He was a graduate of LaSalle University and worked as a branch manager in the insurance industry. Jerry served our country in the Army Reserves from 1955-1963. He was an avid music lover, reader and Philadelphia Phillies fan. Jerry was a member of the Knights of Columbus (past Grand Knight), Greater Wildwood Lions Club (past President), WCFA Radio Volunteer DJ, Cape Regional Hospital Volunteer, Council Member for Woodbury Heights, former firefighter in Wilmington, DE, and EMS/Ambulance driver in Palmyra, NJ. He is survived by his spouse of 56 years, Dolores R. Davis, his children Gregory (Beatrice) Davis, Mary (Fran) Davis, and Lucy (Chuck) Stratton along with his sibling Jeffrey (Shelia) Davis. He is preceded in death by his father Edwin Young and his mother Meta Conley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on May 23, 2022 at 11am at St. John of God. Family and friends may call from 10-11am prior to the service.
