WendySue Duer (nee. Caldwell), 58, passed away on March 14, 2022. She was born in Woodbury, NJ and formerly of National Park, NJ. WendySue was a resident of Cape May County since 2012. She graduated from Gateway Regional High School and was employed at Cape May County Corrections as a food service supervisor along with working for the Cape May Lewes Ferry. WendySue loved cooking and baking, being on the water with her husband and spending time on the beach with Bobby. She was a very caring and loving person, always helping anyone in need, and volunteered with food preparation and service for the homeless. She was a member of the Army/Navy Garrison in National Park, NJ and the Moose Club in Villas, NJ. She is survived by her husband Michael, her son James "Jimmer" Donapel (Natalie), daughter Jennifer Juhring (Phil), her step-children Michael Duer Jr. (Stephanie) and Nicole Metcalf (Ben), 9 grandchildren including Donovan Duer and her siblings Christine Futia (Michael), Martha Jane Caldwell-Bates (Fred), Dean Caldwell (Karen), Laura Schaaf (Kevin), Bridgett Pierce (Charles), William E. Holmstrom, Carl Holmstrom (Terry), Harold Holmstrom (Brandy), nephew John Caldwell III (Leslie) and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father John Caldwell Sr., mother Martha Holmstrom, step-father William Holmstrom and her brothers John Caldwell Jr. and Warren Caldwell. Services will be private.
