Obituary of Eleuteria Rodriguez

Eleuteria Rodriguez, 100, passed away on March 10, 2022. Eleuteria was born in Puerto Rico, was formerly from New York City, NY and was a Cape May County resident for over 50 years. She worked as a chambermaid at several locations in the area and at Avalon Fabrics. She was a licensed childcare provider for many years. Eleuteria loved children, enjoyed flower gardening especially roses, needlepoint and upholstery and was a talented seamstress. She was a member of St John Neuman Parish and a very devoted Catholic of Prayer. She was also a member of Joy in Jesus and Flame of Love Prayer Groups. Eleuteria is survived by her children: Anabel (Charlie), Carlos (Debbie), Hector (Debbie), Doris (Jose), Rozelle (William) and Belinda (Leonardo), 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father, her mother, her husband Juan E. Rodriguez (2002), 5 sisters Pelegrina, Estebania, Lydia, Aida, and Luisa, 4 brothers Israel, Francisco, Jesus, and Jacinto. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. John of God Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May on Wednesday, March 16, 0222 at 11am. Family and friends may call from 10-11am at the church.
