Obituary of Catherine Broder

Catherine "Sis" Broder, 80, passed away October 25, 2021 at home with her family by her side. Catherine was born in Philadelphia, PA and was a Cape May County resident for 34 years. She graduated business school then went on to complete high school. Sis worked as a pharmaceutical assembler for Smith, Klein and French then moved on to work for ITE Corporation as a circuit breaker assembler. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, ceramics and always made sure to donate food and clothing to the church. She was a member of The Fishing Club and The Elk's Club in the Villas. Sis is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jerome Broder, as well as her children, Sandra Kronbar, Robert (Karen) Broder, and David Broder. She is also survived by her grandchildren Thomas, Rebecca and Kelly Kronbar and Alyssa and Timothy Broder and many loved nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her siblings Patricia(Turk) Bizuk, Joseph Slobodrian, Anna (Michael James Pooler) Evans and Steve (Dottie) Slobodrian. Sis is predeceased in death by her parents Michael and Catherine Slobodrian and her brother Michael (Sonny) Slobodrian. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May, NJ. Friends may call from 12-1:30pm for visitation.
