Please share a memory of Regina to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Regina Elizabeth Appolonia (Windfelder), 77 passed away unexpectedly on February 26, 2022. She was born on July 29, 1944 in Philadelphia to Edward and Regina Windfelder (Nowack). She was a resident of North Cape May and was predeceased by husband Joseph Appolonia. She is survived by daughter Regina Smith and sons Patrick and Joseph Appolonia; Grandchildren Meghan, Robert, and Catherine Smith, Elizabeth, Juliette, and Patricia Appolonia. Loren, Joseph III, Emily, and Taylor Appolonia. Known as "Nana" by almost everyone she met, Nana was a legend in the bar and restaurant community of Cape May County. She bartended at Two Mile Inn and Urie's restaurants for more than 30 years in addition to Harry the Hat, and Pirate's Den. If you enjoyed a summer drink at the Jersey Shore, Nana most likely prepared it. She was known for her big earrings, fiery red hair, and candid personality. Nana was a warm friend to many. She was an avid horse racing fan, Notre Dame Football cheerleader, animal lover and a passionate American. Nana fiercely loved her family, and wouldn't go a day without bragging about her grandchildren to anyone who would listen. She will be missed by many.
