Piraino, Joanna M., age 78, of Villas, died peacefully at home on Sunday, February 27, 2022. She was formerly of Delaware County, PA and lived in this area for the past 20 years. Joanna was employed as a supervisor for the Franklin Mint in Philadelphia for over 10 years. She was a former member of the Greater Cape May Elks in Villas and she enjoyed gardening, going to the casinos and spending time with her family. Joanna is predeceased by her son Robert Toogood, sister Deanna Smith and her sister-in-law Carol Annunziato. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Robert J. Ganter (and his daughter, Jennifer), her children Susanne (Michael) Pergolini, Dianna (John) Pasternak, Joanna Brown-Clark, Marianne Oakes, and David (Briget) Brown, 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and her brothers Pete and Lynch (Sandra) Annunziato, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, N. Cape May, on Friday, March 4, from 7pm to 9pm and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 5, at St. John of God Church, 680 Town Bank Rd. N. Cape May, at 11 am. Contributions can be made in Joanna's memory to the American Parkinson Disease Association, online or sent to their National Headquarters, PO Box 61420, Staten Island, NY 10306.
