Obituary of Marion Louise Edgar

Marion L. Edgar, age 89, of Villas, NJ passed away Monday, December 16, 2013 at North Cape Center. Formerly of Springfield, PA; Marion has been a Cape May area resident since 1983. During that time she was employed by South Cape Nursing Home as an assistant activities director. She enjoyed being a member the Lower Township Senior Center and playing bingo at St. Raymond's RC Church. A wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, cook, and fisherwoman that will be missed by everyone. Marion was a caregiver to all that she met and she loved giving to others, especially family and friends. Marion was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy Edgar and her son Pa Congressman Bob Edgar. She is survived by her two sons: Richard (Cathy Jo) of Mechanicsville, MD and, Ralph (Jane) of Grand Detour, IL; her daughter-in-law Merle Edgar, and her brother Ralph Fish.. Also surviving are her nine grandchildren: Richard, LeAnne, Rob, David, Andrew, Jennifer, Jamie, Wendy, Heather along with 27 great "grands', her good friends Mary Ellen Carney, Pat Faniel and Bob Jones. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
