Obituary of Gillian Higman

Gillian Leigh Higman, 49, of Cape May, NJ passed away on January 24, 2022, after an extended illness. She was the beloved wife of Daniel J. Higman and the loving mother of April R. Higman. She is also survived by her parents, Susan and Stephen Feldman of Villanova, PA. A proud graduate of Dartmouth College and Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, she began her career with the Consulting Services section of Deloitte US, specializing in strategy work in the Health Care sector before joining the Aetna group. She was active in recruiting for Dartmouth and brought her leadership, her acumen, her wit and her empathy to several local charities and community organizations. An avid equestrian, she supported horseback riding for disabled children and other equine and canine rescue efforts. Hers was the kindest of hearts, the keenest of minds. She loved to cook, to travel and to enjoy the warmth of her family and her "critters". She will be greatly missed by all.
