Paulus, Ernest, 73, of Villas, NJ passed away on January 7, 2022. Ernest lived in the area for 49 years and is formerly from Philadelphia, PA. He retired from the US Coast Guard as an electrical technician after 23 years of service. Ernest was a proud Vietnam veteran and a member of the Moose Lodge in Erma, NJ. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marcia along with his children Melissa Sorrell, Ernest III (Naomi), Trisha Steel and Jason Paulus (Michele), 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, his sister, Karen Lynn Nailie (Charles) and mother, Marie Paulus. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 10am-12noon at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May, NJ with a memorial service to follow. The family requests that masks are worn. Internment will be held privately. Condolences may be shared at www.evoyfuneralhome.com.
