Bob came from a generation that understood community and responsibility. Always the gentleman, Bob gave much of his life to others and was a key member of our town. Whether at a community meeting, a township meeting, or a political meeting, Bob stood for common sense, and always compassion. I knew him as a friend for the past twenty years or so, and someone I shared many a breakfast and yes, an occasional beer. He greatly missed his wife Lorraine, and it is more than a small consolation to know they are together again. I will miss you Bob, save me a seat at that big Elks club in the sky, and for sure the first one is on you. God bless, my friend, and my deepest condolences to the family he loved so much.
