Ellen R Michel, age 69, of North Cape May passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Cape Regional Med. Center. Ellen was born September 17, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA. She was the daughter of the late James and the late Marion (Duckworth) Dempsey. Ellen was predeceased by her husband of 32 years John Craig Michel. She was employed by Lower Township School System as a Cafeteria Aide for 25 years. Ellen was a great lover of animals and enjoyed working with the children through her job at Mitnick School. She was loved dearly and will be missed by many. Ellen is survived by one daughter Suzanne Michel and son-in-law Anthony Jackson of North Cape May, NJ; her brother-in-law William and sister-in-law Barbara Michel. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family suggests donations in Ellen's memory to the Animal Outreach of Cape May County, PO Box 1225, Cape May, NJ 08204.
