General Lee Jackson, 89, of Cape May passed away peacefully on July 31, 2012 surrounded by his family. He was born in Midway, TX to Oscar and Angelina Jackson; he was a Cape May resident for over 65 years. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he married Annie Williams with whom he had five children. He worked at LCMR High School as a custodian for many years and was lastly employed at Burdette Tomlin Hospital as a security guard. General was predeceased by Annie and his children Thomas, Martha Ann, and Angela. He is survived by his son Robert (Susan) Jackson of Del Haven, his daughter Linda of Wildwood, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to attend his graveside memorial service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210; followed by repast at Bob's house 200 Eldridge Ave, Del Haven, NJ 08251.
