Carl Mathis Sr., age 64 of North Cape May passed away on October 1, 2021 at his home. He was born in Cape May Court House and was a lifelong Cape May County resident. Carl had worked as a commercial fisherman. He also enjoyed helping out senior citizens doing side jobs especially landscaping for them. Carl was preceded in death by his parents John "Jack" Mathis (1999) and Roberta Ann "Bobbi" Mathis (2021). He is survived by his son Carl Mathis Jr. ; two grandsons; siblings John Mathis III, Dawn Turkaly, Robert Mathis, Karen Mathis and Brenda Mathis. Carl also leaves numerous nieces and nephews including Karl Albert and Nicole Glenn. Funeral Services were private.
