Rodden, William L. "Billy", left us after a short battle with cancer. Born and raised in Philadelphia but always had a passion for the Jersey Shore. Lifetime bartender, started his career at the Red Garter. He also worked at Neils Steak and Oyster House, Carney's, Mulligans, finally settling at the Bayshore Inn, transforming into Red Brick Ale House. Professional would describe his work ethic. Billy was preceded in death by the love of his life, MaryJo, father William E. and mother Margaret A. He is survived by his sister Pat Mooney (Evie), brother Mike (Janet), 2 lovely daughters Marissa (Chris) and Kayla (Patrick), and four grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Parish of St. John Neumann, Church of St. John of God, 680 Townbank Rd., N Cape May; friends may call prior to mass from 10am – 11am. Burial will be privately held. Memorial donations can be made online to CHOP at chop.edu, or Wounded Warriors at support.woundedwarriorproject.org.
