Obituary of Eileen R. O'Brien

Eileen passed away on October 8, 2021 after complications from dementia. Eileen was 96 years old and received excellent care from Victoria Manner in North Cape May, NJ. Eileen was predeceased by her longtime partner Dyson Broadbent, her mother Kathleen Earl, her stepfather, John Earl, her brothers, William O'Brien, Patrick O'Brien, and sisters, Colleen Csengery, Delores Strawn, Barbara Yoanidis, Norma Solomon, and Betty O'Brien. She is survived by her son, James Ward and daughter in law, Patricia Ward, daughter Eileen, also her grandson Michael Ward (Jackie Ward) and granddaughter Samantha Ward, great granddaughter Gemma Christine Ward and great grandson Brendan Michael Ward. She is also survived by her siblings Sandra McCracken and John Earl, and many nieces and nephews. Eileen was born in Canada and grew up on a farm in Indiana. She loved talking about her life on the farm. Eileen looked forward to the trips to Virginia Beach with her sisters. She loved her flowers and birds. She was a great cook and enjoyed sharing her meals with family and friends. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren. Arrangements are private.
