Obituary of Joseph John Werner

Joseph J Werner, age 89, of North Cape May passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at his home. He was born in Philadelphia; was formerly from Brookhaven, PA; and has been a Cape May area resident since 1988. Joseph served his country in the US Army during World War II. He worked as a TV repairman for RCA in Upper Darby, was an avid bowler, and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Erma. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Mary in 1999 and his son Patrick in 2008. He is survived by three children: Linda, Joseph, & Michael; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St Peter & Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA.
