Charles A. Hughes age 83 of Williamstown, NJ passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the Cape Regional Medical Center. He was born in Abington, PA and previously had lived in Gloucester City. Was a graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School, Class of 1957 and had activley served in the US National Guard. Charles had worked as a boilermaker and pipefitter on the Naval Ship the Kitty Hawk and lastly for Rohm and Haas in Philadelphia. He also was the former owner with his wife of a Montgomery Ward Catalogue Store in Medford, NJ. He was an avid Harley motorcyclist and enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. Charles was a former member of the Knights of Columbus in Williamstown. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Mary Hughes and children (infant) Charles and (infant) Stacy. Charles is survived by his wife of 57 years Margaret Hughes; daughters, Sharon (Dan) McQuaide and Tammi (Mark) Ardecki; grandchildren, Lauren, Markie and Megan and great-grandchildren, Charles Brilee and Stephan.
