Obituary of John M. Becker

Becker, John, age 73 of N Cape May, passed away at his home Sunday, September 5, 2021. Born in, and formerly of, Philadelphia, John was an area resident most of his life. He graduated from Father Judge High School in Philadelphia, served in the US Army for 2 years during the Vietnam War, and later retired as a Bridge Operator from the NJDOT after 25 years. John enjoyed watching Philadelphia Phillies games and was a big Eagles fan. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Althea, stepchildren Angel Anderson, Dawn Anderson, Tom Anderson and Tiffany Turner, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A funeral service for John will be held at 11am on Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N Cape May; friends and family may call one hour prior to service from 10am – 11am.
