I Will Never Forget the Day I Met John Rekuc on One of My First Cape May County Hog Runs!! I was Soooo Scared of Him…… He Looked Like a Scary Biker & I was Just a Girl Who Wanted to Fit in!!! We Didn’t Talk Much the First Time, then I Found Out He knew Jimmy Dunn…… I Begged Jimmy to Tell John I Was Kool & I Could Ride with Them…. Jimmy Did & the Next time I Saw John He Came Right Up to Me & Made Me Feel Welcomed to the Group. We Ended Up Being GREAT FRIENDS!!!! I Truly Feel Some of My BEST Days are when the Gang all Rode Together Especially when We went to Lancaster & Met Mr. Dick Yuengling !!!! It Still Remains One of My Top Vacations Ever!!! John Truly was a Gentle Giant & Would Do Anything for Anyone!!! I Will Truly Miss U My Dear Friend!!! Until We Meet Agian ♥️♥️♥️♥️ Ride Safe Up There Buddy!!!

I am so sad to hear this !!! John was my friend…I will dearly miss him !!! I just heard from him a few days after I had hand surgery at Rothman/AtlantiCare !!! He wanted me to know that I was in good hands because he had had treatment there !!! That was typical of your John —-> an extremely kind and thoughtful human being !!! He was a student in my fifth grade class at Cape May City Elementary School !!! He was a GREAT kid —-> enthusiastic, dedicated, thoughtful…a real pleasure to have in the classroom !!! His work with “Toys For Tots” and the bike rides spoke volumes about his character !!! There are seats in heaven reserved for angels like John Rekuc !!! Please RIP, John !!!
