Lapsley, Bess, age 86 of N Cape May, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021. She was born in Philadelphia to the late Charles and Mary Peitzman, and married to the late George S Lapsley III (2012). Bess was a member of the Cold Spring Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her children George D. (Margaret), Glen S. (Denise) and Steven C. (James Sinclair), 8 grandchildren – Christophe (Megan), Brandon (Christan), Andrew (Justin Montero), Ryan, Amy, Rebecca, Daniel, Noah, 4 great-grandchildren – Samuel, Harper, Cecilia, Theodore and her twin sister Myra Peitzman. Bess was predeceased by 5 brothers, Maurice, Raymond, Ralph, Jerome, Kenneth. A service for Bess will be held 11am on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the Cold Spring Presbyterian Church, 780 Seashore Rd., N Cape May, NJ; a viewing will be held 1 hour prior to service from 10am – 11am. Interment will immediately follow service at the Cold Spring Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to Kline Hospice House, 7000 Kimmel Road, Mt. Airy, MD 21771.
