Obituary of John Frederick Cehlar

Cehlar, John F., age 81, of Villas, NJ, died suddenly on Friday, July 16, 2021. Born in and formerly of Philadelphia, PA, John has been an area resident since 1986. Mr. Cehlar was a Construction Contactor both in Philadelphia and in Lower Township and was the owner/operator of JFC'S Professional Services Group, LLC of Villas, NJ. He attended Corpus Christi Elementary School in Philadelphia, St. Joseph Prep School and both LaSalle University and Drexel College. John served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. He is a Life member of the Knights of Columbus and member of the Bayshore Sportsman's Club and former member of the Moose Lodge of Erma. Surviving is his wife Jackolyn "Joy," 2 children Johnny (Barb) Cehlar and Jim (Michelle) Cehlar, stepdaughter Carly Rios, Will (Fiance), grandchildren Jim Jr. and Meghan, step-grandchild Luna, sister Georgianna (aka "Jo"), and Mary Cehlar (mother of Johnny and Jim). Also survived by long-time friends Gerri Pilillo, Elaine Kalbach, Johanne Palermo, Liz Conneely, and other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
