Hank, I only knew you a short time. As I was a boating novice you helped me be comfortable in my boat. I looked forward to walking by the bait hut and chatting before going down to the boat. I will miss you. Rest in peace. My sincere condolences to your wife and boys and to your beautiful grandson I met today. I know there will only be good stories told about his granddad.

While I didn't know Hank personally, he touched the lives of all 3 of my children during their time working with him at Pier 47 Marina. Hank was a teacher, a friend and a mentor who really cared about the kids that worked with him. He will be greatly missed by so many.

I had the great pleasure of meeting and knowing Hank at Pier 47. He was one of the nicest people I have ever known. He was always very happy and always had a nice word for everyone. I looked forward to seeing Hank every time I went to the Marina.
I will really, really miss him. However, I know Hank is in heaven because God takes the best people there and Hank was certainly one of the BEST PEOPLE.
