Obituary of Carol A. Brophy

Brophy, Carol A., age 82, of Shawcrest and formerly of Pine Hill, NJ, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at her home. For 20 years, Carol made a living as a Payroll Clerk and office Manager for ADP Payroll Company in Moorestown, NJ and after her retirement she worked at Douglas Fudge on the Wildwood boardwalk for several years. She had a strong and amazing work ethic and was known to be ready for work several hours before she had to be there. She enjoyed lunches with her friends and loved spending time with her family and lived life to the fullest. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bingo, watching golf, going to the casinos in Atlantic City. She also enjoyed numerous phone calls with her family and helping them out in many ways. Carol is predeceased by her parents; Charles and Edna (Greeley) Hughes, her beloved husband David and her sister Mae Trump. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Charles (Elizabeth), Robert (Susan), and Patrick (Julie) Brophy, her Grandson Carson, her sister Beverly Fisher, her brother Charles (Bonnie)Hughes, her sister-in-law Patricia Callahan, and her nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held for Carol on Saturday, May 15 at 3pm with visiting 1 hour prior from 2pm to 3pm at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., North Cape May. Interment will be private.
