Obituary of Robert Glenn Heathcote

Robert "Glenn" Heathcote, 69 passed away at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center on May 4, 2021 after a short illness. A devoted family man, Glenn was born in Sea Isle City, NJ and graduated from Lower Cape May Regional High School in 1971. He is predeceased by his parents William and Easter Heathcote. After serving 22 years in the United States Coast Guard, he went on to work in the real estate business for 25 years. He then spent his retirement years as the dockmaster at the Two Mile Landing Marina. Glenn was known for putting his heart and soul into everything he did and went out of his way to cater to everyone he knew. Glenn and Pat enjoyed their free time traveling the country with their camper or out on the water on their boat visiting the Chesapeake, Florida, and the Bahamas. His life was full and his heart was big. Glenn was a member of the VFW Post 386 and the Villas Fishing Club. He will be sadly missed by his devoted wife of 49.5 years, Patricia (Howell) Heathcote, daughter Janine Hansberry (Drew Trucksess), son Randy (Kimberly) Heathcote, brothers Charles Heathcote and Jade William Heathcote (Martha) and five beautiful grandchildren, Alyssa and Brandon Hansberry and Randy, Brady, and Cooper Heathcote. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 8, at 11am and friends may call 1 hour prior, from10am to 11am. Interment will immediately follow the service at Cold Spring Cemetery with full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Glenn's memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
