On April 25, 2021, David Earl Wence, age 78 passed away. Beloved husband to Barbara Wence, predeceased by brother Bob (Kathy) Wence, and survived by sister Elizabeth (Ed) Schellhas, daughter Trace (Ken) Carmelly), son Todd (Maria) Wence and Shannon Wence. Stepson George (Lisa) Griffin and pre-deceased by step-daughter Geanine Concio. Also survived by best friend Edward Baldwin. Dave was also a grandfather to Michael, Mya, Sean, C.J., Chris, Nick and Gina.
Dave was an Army Veteran as well as a 50 year member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners Local 393. Dave was a master craftsman who touched the lives of many. Dave had a great love of music and dancing. He will be greatly missed.
A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 10am – 12am at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N Cape May.
