Uncle Stan, Brother of (Matthew, my dad & best friend) - Will forever be in my heart and will be missed.
My memories of my Uncle Stan go back as far as I can remember as he and my pop, Matthew, were tied at the hip in life. With 2 brothers, marrying 2 sisters, this alone built a stronger bond that at times was a challenge in itself, however, the love of these 2 couples and the camaraderie I witnessed through many many years was like no other.
Next, add in they both went as far as living next door to each other in Philadelphia for some time and also buying 2 properties across the street from each other at the shore.
I felt lucky to have my Uncle Stan as he would bring me along on boat rides at the pier, fishing trips, tasks and also taught me a lot about being around the water and how to work on my fishing technique.
Still to this day, I recall every week in the summer as a boy, my Uncle Stan would pull me up on the poles that were built in on the pathway down to the pier and he would sit me up on his leg and let me look out for the boats that he sent out fishing. He would tell me we need to keep an eye on them and make sure they werent telling us any fish stories when they got back in.
There are so many memories here but most of all I loved him and will miss him.
To Stan Jr, Johnny & Helene, my prayers have been heavy for you and will continue to ask the God bless you and help you through this time.
In closing, "They just don't build em like Uncle Stan anymore" & we are all lucky to have had the opportunity to learn from him and love on him.
So as I look up to the sky, I will know that he is with his wife, my pop and all his family & friends and one day we will all be together again.

Stan and Ginnie forever shaped the man I am today. Stan was the "father I never had". He provided me guidance, life skills, and confidence that has served me well to this day. My one regret is that I never expressed this to him but rest assured I'll never forget him. Stan and Ginnie together again. It makes me sad and happy all at once.
