Obituary of Florence A Granahan

Granahan, Florence (nee McHale) age 80 of North Cape May, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully January 28, 2021 in her home with her family. She is predeceased by her parents James F and Florence Millman, and by her first husband Thomas McHale. Florence is survived by her husband of 20 years, William Granahan, children Thomas (Debbie) McHale, James McHale, Richard McHale, Kathleen McHale and Robert (Cheryl) McHale. She will also be missed by her 4 stepchildren Thomas (Lori) Granahan, William (Tracey) Granahan, KellyAnn (James) Sneddon, Paul (Alicia) Granahan, 20 grandchildren Kevin McHale, Kristin (James) Champion, Kelly McHale, Matthew McHale, Shawn McHale, Jennifer (Michael) Lewis, Richard (Madison) McHale, Shannon (Chris) Miller, Robert McHale, Kirstyn McHale, Cassidy McHale, Nicole (Andrew) Knoecker, T.J. Granahan, Brittany (Kyle) Granahan, Carla (Walter) Granahan, Wil Granahan, Zachary Sneddon, Zoe Sneddon, Alice Ray and Amanda Ray, and 6 great-grandchildren Michael, Mason and Matthew Lewis, Dalton and Deluca Knoecker, and Aiden Jones. Florence worked for Comcast Cable Company for over 20 years and developed many long-lasting friendships. She received the honor of "Employee of the Quarter" numerous times and was awarded for creating "laughter soaring through the air". Florence was a joy to know and to be with over the years. She is dearly loved and will be missed by her husband Bill, her 9 children and stepchildren, 26 grand and great-grandchildren, friends and extended family. May she rest in peace with our Savior. Friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday February 3, 2021 from 9am – 11am at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N Cape May, NJ. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11am; for those unable to attend, service will be available via LiveStream from Florence's memorial site on www.EvoyFuneralHome.com. Burial will follow service at Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd., Cape May Court House.
