Nixon, Howard A., Sr., age 81 of Villas, passed away Tuesday September 8, 2020 at his home. Formerly of Carney's Point, Howard has been an area resident since 2002. He worked as a plumber with Local 26 Plumbers Union, and later worked and retired from Longwood Gardens in Kenneth Square, PA. Howard served with the National Guard and was a member of the Bayshore Sportsmen Club. He enjoyed hunting, golf, watching sports, and spending time with family. Howard is survived by his wife Sylvia (nee Mangeri), sons Bryan (Abby) Nixon of Virginia Beach and Howard Nixon Jr of Newark, DE, and 4 grandchildren Samantha and Madison Nixon, and Alec and Mia Nixon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the Parish of St. John Neumann, St. John of God Parish, 680 Townbank Rd., N Cape May, NJ. Friends and family may call following Mass from 12:30pm – 1:30pm at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N Cape May. Interment will be privately held.
