Michael, Mark, Stan, Steve. Kenny and Keith. I am so sorry I was unable to attend today's service. Your mother meant so much to my family my whole life. Growing up on Lemonte Street she treated me like her 7th son. I'm so glad my wife and I got to see her a few days before she passed. Her and Ginny prayed together just like they did years before when Ginny would take my mom down for a visit. She was more than my mom's best friend, she was like a daughter. On many occsssions I would hear mom say she wouldn't know what to do without your mom. I take comfort knowing they are reunited again. I still remember all the rides in the back of your station wagon and the fun we had. I miss those days. Please know your mom will always be in my heart.❤

I had the pleasure of working side by side with Barbara for a number of years. As a co-worker, she was hard working, loyal and treated everyone with courtesy and respect. As a person, she was so much more. Kind, caring, thoughtful and giving are among the words that come to mind. Speaking of giving, I remember when my wife was expecting our first child. Before the baby was born, Barbara gave us our first stuffed animal, a soft, cuddly rabbit. When the baby was born, the rabbit, later named “bunny”, quickly became a trusted companion and a source of comfort for our little girl. That little girl is 23 years old now and "bunny" still has a prominent place on her headboard, much like Barbara has a prominent place in our hearts. Thanks for everything Barb. You will be sadly missed. My sincere condolences to her family for the loss of such a special individual.

I worked with Barbara for over 28 years...and cherished every moment of that time. She was kind and caring and always had a smile on her face. I shall always keep a special place in my heart for Barbara.
My condolences to her family, but I am certain all of you will remember happy memories, as I do, to ease the pain of loss. Unfortunately, a prior scheduled family commitment will preclude my attendance on Wednesday...but I shall certainly be there in spirit.
